Atlético Femenino Ben-namiel takes the victory after beating CD Estepona 3-0 Fútbol Senior

New victory for our Benalmadena warriors this Sunday at the Francisco Alarcón ‘Isco’. Those of Sergio Pérez, who played a good game, have gone 14 days without defeat, after beating a CD Estepona Fútbol Senior that showed good manners.

Atlético Femenino Ben-namiel stepped onto the grass hungry for victory and it only took sixty seconds for, after a pass from Inés, Adriana to ‘open the can’ and open the scoring.

Ours imposed their game, dominating the ball and had several scoring chances that ultimately did not materialize and together with two goals disallowed by the referee, they reached half-time with the score shorter than what they really deserved. And the fact is that the rivals only managed to reach the goal once with a shot that Sara, -who remained a spectator for much of the game-, stopped without difficulty.

After returning from the locker room, Estepona did not give up, they pressed and looked for their goal, but it was the yellow team’s players who first worried the rival goalkeeper again. And Paula Soler made it 2-0 from a long shot in the 58th minute.

Despite being behind on the scoreboard, Estepona did not deflate and, far from falling behind, continued to press, unsuccessfully seeking to close the gap. In the 68th minute the third and last goal of the match would come, from the boots of Shakira, who had already made several attempts frustrated by the rival goalkeeper.

From there to the end, Atlético Femenino Ben-namiel showed that they like it and they like it, they played good touch football and had some more chances, which did not get on the scoreboard due to real bad fortune.

In short, a good game for the local team, much superior to Estepona, and three more points for the yellow box, which continues to lead the qualifying table. The match ended with a happy team and stands, united and confident in continuing to obtain positive results like those achieved in this historic season.

The next day becomes crucial since Sergio Pérez’s team will confront forces with PFC Málaga, the second classified with 46 points, who will try to reduce the advantage of the Benalmadena team, who lead the table with a total of 50 points. The match will be played next Sunday, February 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Cártama athletics stadium.
