Benalforma is accredited with two new specialties in Hospitality and Tourism

With the aim of improving the employability of the unemployed in Benalmádena through training for employment, from the Employment Delegation through its Centro Municipal de Formación Benalforma, it is committed to accreditation in new specialties in order to attract more and new subsidies aimed at active employment policies.

Thus, during this month of October Two new accreditationsin the specialties have been added to the current offer, on the one hand, in Basic restaurant and bar operations, which will have 290 hours long and aimed at Benalmadeses unemployed with a deficit level of studies such as those who have not finished ESO, and on the other, in Restaurant service, with 580 hours and intended for unemployed who have ESO.

To date, the Training Center is accredited to teach a total of 44 training specialties, of which 10 are training programs and 34 are certificates of professionalism and, as explained by the Councilor for Employment, Joaquín Villázón, “we are working on to acquire new equipment and facilities that make it possible to increase these accreditations and thus to be able to develop more and new specialties ”.

Likewise, it should be remembered that currently two new courses have been launched and the term of two more is open, which will begin at the beginning of the year 2022.

Successful job placement

Last September the students of the last five training itineraries of Project No. 8 Benemplea Includes received their diplomas and said goodbye to this educational action with a global job placement of 64.29 percent of its participants.

The most successful training itinerary in terms of the employment of its students was Cleaning Surfaces and Furniture in Buildings and Premises, in which 92.86 percent found employment. Followed by a percentage of labor insertion of 60 percent is that of Auxiliary Activities of Commerce, while Auxiliary Activities in Nurseries, Gardens and Garden Centers experienced 58.33 percent, that of Basic Operations of Apartments in Accommodation a 57.14 percent and the Bar And Cafeteria Service concluded with a job placement percentage of 53.33 percent.
