With the arrival of summer, the little ones stop attending classes and extracurricular activities. The need to reconcile work and, in other cases, alleviate the boredom of children at home, has sports camps as an excellent ally.
The Benalmádena Sports Area offers a total of eleven camps this year, according to councilor Joaquín Villazón, “with the aim of facilitating work-life balance during the summer period, facilitating recreational activities for boys and girls in the mornings while their fathers and mothers they work”.
Most of the camps will be held in July, although there will also be some in August, they will offer a wide variety of sports,and constitute an extension of the work of the sports schools
“Some are more recreational, and others are more focused on technology, like basketball,” explained Villazón.
The offer this summer is very varied and you can choose between hockey, three soccer, rhythmic gymnastics, artistic dance, two general (Mañanas Deportivas andEl Cao), karate or basketball, among others.
The City Council will publish in a few days the program of Sports activities for summer 2022, where all the information about each camp will be collected, as well as telephone numbers and emails to be able to process the registrations.
