Benalmadenses with reduced mobility enjoy the adapted dance program

The Councilor for Commerce, Javier Marín; the councilor for the Third Age, Irene Díaz; and the Councilor for Social Welfare, Alicia Laddaga, visited the Brotherhood of Redemption this morning to attend the end of the season of the adapted dance program.

This program is carried out by the users of the Benalmádena Volunteers Association and, in the words of the councilor, “they have a very pleasant time, showing that having any motor difficulties is not an impediment to enjoying leisure”.

This initiative depends on the Health Delegation, “where we have a program that includes adapted bathing and dancing, providing great benefits to people with reduced mobility both in summer and winter,” the councilor valued.

The programtakes place in the brotherhood on a temporary basis, while the expansion and improvement works of the Anica Torres active participation center are completed.
