El Bil-Bil Castle hosts an exhibition of the works of the Felipe Orlando National Drawing and Watercolor Contest

El Bil-Bil Castle hosts an exhibition with a selection of the works participating in the Felpe Orlando 2021 National Drawing and Watercolor Contest, to which a total of 56 works have been presented in this edition.

As reported by the Councilor for Culture, Pablo Centella, the jury -which will announce its ruling tomorrow at 7:00 p.m.- has made a selection of 37, which are those exhibited in The Bil Bil from tomorrow until November 19, which, in his opinion, “shows the great level of this year.” On this occasion, the City Council has increased the amount in prizes and 3,000 euros will be awarded per discipline.

Jazz concert

In order to enhance the exhibition, the City Council has opted to accompany it with a jazz concert by José Carra Trio that will be held on Friday, October 8 at 8:00 p.m. Jose Carra Trío is one of the most established proposals on the jazz scene in Spain. His music, strongly influenced by classical music and jazz, refers to many styles such as rock, pop, electronic or popular music. Poetry also plays a fundamental role in his music, creating a totally personal and recognizable universe.

Due to capacity limitations, the concert will have limited places up to 100 spectators, and admission will be free until full capacity is reached. “El Castillo El Bil-Bil thus resumes its schedule of activities with close and quality shows,” said Centella.
