The Ben-al-Arte Cultural Association, as part of the activities scheduled for this Monday, September 26, at 6:00 p.m., at its headquarters in C/ Gardenia s/n (Under the Arcoiris Nursery in Benalmádena-Pueblo ). Admission is free until full capacity is reached and attendees will be able to enjoy Memoirs of a Navigator, which will be carried out by Francisco Jurado Matas.
The speaker will share his nautical experiences, the beginnings, his journeys, his vision of that world of adventures, he will share anecdotes and, as reported by the cultural association, “always pretending that it is more of a colloquium with the attendees than a doctoral class”.
Francisco Jurado Matas is a native of Herrera, a town in the province of Seville, and, as he tells us, his approach to nautical sports began when he was thirty years old -he is now 73-. He has sailed through the Mediterranean, the Atlantic and the Caribbean and, he comments that “at present I am in a dry dock, but without losing the illusion of sailing again as soon as circumstances allow it”.
It should be remembered that attendance is free until full capacity is reached.
