Juan AntonioVargas has announced today, through his Facebook profile, that he is leaving the spokesperson for the Liberals in Benalmádena to dedicate himself fully to his professional activity as a consultant in the pharmaceutical industry. Until now the mayor of Cs has stated that “he has never lived from politicssince I have kept my activity private and there has come a certain point where the volume of work I have on it it prevents me from carrying out a political activity as the citizens of Benalmádena and my fellow party members deserve”.
Vargas, who has already formally asked to leave as a councilman, stresses that “in life you have to close stages to be able to open others and I leave with satisfaction and a clear conscience.”
The liberal confesses that “my way of being prevents him from staying crouched until the end of the legislature charging assistance to the Plenary without being able to dedicate one hundred percent to it”, for which he indicates that he resigns with “the peace of mind that the colleague who will assume my functions will do it in an excellent way”. In relation to his colleagues, he wanted to recognize the work carried out by María Luisa Robles and Ana Quelcuti, as well as their “constant affection”.
He has also had words of thanks for the people who supported him at the time, such as Teresa Pardo and Vicente Sánchez, and “the constant affection of Juan Marín or Carlos Hernández White and from all the affiliates of Benalmádena, to all the members of the electoral list and companions from the rest of the province.”
