La Fonda hostel school starts the academic year with vacant places

About thirty students have started the academic year at the Benalmadense hospitality school La Fonda, where they will be able to achieve, throughout the year, a certificate of professionalism that guarantees that they have acquired the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully enter the labor market. This school stands as an important element of labor insertion and proof of this is the hiring of 60 percent of last year’s students by a hotel chain, according to the territorial delegate for Employment, Carmen Sánchez.

During the current academic year, a fortnight of the students will be trained in cooking while the rest will receive training in restaurant service. La delegada territorial junto con el alcalde, Víctor Navas, y varios concejales del equipo de Gobierno Local, han visitado La Fonda para mantener un encuentro con el alumnado. During the visit, Navas highlighted that this school “is a benchmark in training not only in Benalmádena, but in the entire province of Malaga, due to its high level of labor insertion and its ability to train great professionals in the hospitality sector. guaranteeing a level of excellence ”.

The mayor recalled that there are still places available at La Fonda for this course, so he has encouraged young people who are unemployed to train “in a sector as important as the hospitality industry, with the criteria of excellence that are demanded in this sector on the Costa del Sol ”.
