The Captaincy building of the Benalmádena Marina hosted the act of signing the collaborationagreements between themunicipal company of the Benalmádena marina and the local athletes Valeria Canosa del Valle and Marco Aguilera.
The act of signing these promotion agreements for local elite athletes was attended by the Councilor for the Port, Encarnación Cortés; the manager of the Puerto Deportivo de Benalmádena, Manuel Jiménez, and the representatives of the very young athletes, who took advantage of the occasion to thank the Port for its support.
The mayor of Puerto, Encarnación Cortés, stressed that these are two new sponsorships and recalled that with these agreements the “already campaign to support local sports offered by the Puerto Deportivo” is expanded.
For his part, Manuel Jiménez, manager of the Port, emphasized the “great pool of athletes that Benalmádena has” and reaffirmed his commitment to local elite sports.
The new sponsors are Valeria Canosa del Valle, 13 years old, who plays paddle tennis in the second year Children’s category; and Marco Aguilera, in the motorsports category, who at 15 years old has already been Champion of Spain for Circuit Tourism driving a 300 hp Hyundai i30N CET and was at the Jerez Circuit representing Spain in the World Championship in its category.
Likewise, yesterday the collaboration agreement with the Maravillas-Benalmádena Handball Club was also renewed for the second consecutive year, which has already been champion of Malaga in the Alevín, Infantil Feminino and Cadete Feminina categories, in addition to also participating in the Arena 1000 Tournament in Handball-Beach modality.
