The mayor of Benalmádena, Víctor Navas, today visited the renovation works and creation of new sidewalks and lighting on Maestro Trujillostreet in Arroyo de la Miel. “The repair of this street, an important road that connects two areas of Arroyo de la Miel, was one of the pending issues because no municipal government until now had had the intention of cleaning it up and fixing it in order to complete the reorganization of the urban sector where Tívoli World is located”, explained Navas.
The mayor has pointed out that this work “is in line with the expansion of Cosmos Avenue, where a fourth lane is going to be added, and thus we will meet one of the requirements requested by the Andalusian Government when the expansion of the Tívoli amusement park was proposed World”.
In this sense, he explained that in his day, to authorize the park expansion project, the regional government required an improvement in accesses and a reorganized area for traffic, “especially necessary in this street, which until now lacked so much sidewalks as well as lighting”, the mayor clarified. The action includes the creation of about 250 linear meters of sidewalks, public lighting and urban furniture, and the works have a completion period of two months. “This will not be the only steel plan that we are going to implement this legislature: two more are planned, which will start in the coming weeks in Salto de la Rana and the Solymar urbanization, in addition to drafting projects for other pavement plans for Gamonal and García Lorca Avenue”, Navas advanced.
