Manuel Gerena brings the most rebellious flamenco to the Casa de la Cultura

The commitment to flamenco is a constant in Benalmádena‘s cultural agenda. In addition to the excellent exhibition of snapshots on El Color en el Baile Flamenco by the Sevillian photographer Paco Sánchez, this Friday, October 22, the performance of thecantaor Manuel Gerena will be added. The House of Culture is therefore filled with Andalusian art par excellence and the desire among neighbors and foreigners for the Benalmádena Flamenco Week to arrive.

The flamenco singer-songwriter comes to present his two new works. On the one hand, his disk Un Rebelde con Causa, recorded live on the Teatro Lope de Vega of Seville on February 19 of last year, with the guitar of his inseparable Juan Ignacio González and on the other, his latest book-album, Sobre el Amor y el Desencanto, a 300-page anthology with poems from yesterday and today, accompanied by three discs –Amor sin fronteras, Sevillanas del Cante and Flamenco en Libertad– and for the DVD of his concert included in the aforementioned disc.
