This morning the awards for this edition of the Film Tapa Route were awarded, the winners of whichhave been chosen by the public who visited the various venuesto taste the exclusive tapas inspired by great movies. Themost voted restaurant has been Pirañaconda, which makes it worthy of a prize of 500 euros. The second classified has been veteran restaurant Tita Yoli; the third, El Vivero, the social gastrobar La Vida es Bella has obtained the fourthprize, and the fifth has gone to La Espiga.
The Councilor for Commerce, Javier Marín, highlighted the great repercussion of this edition and in this sense, he stressed that “the organizing company has told us that it has had a impact on social networks of more than 5,000 people, and more than 1,400 people have contributed their vote for the election of the winners ”.
“Joining the Ficcab with these two weeks of the Ruta de la Tapa de Cine gives rise to a very attractive and successful symbiosis, and together we have to achieve its consolidation so that it becomes another tourist attraction in Benalmádena”, explained Marín.
For his part, the mayor of Culture, Pablo Centella, stressed that “our international film festival gives us an important projection: I want to remember that this year we have received more than 1,100 short films from all over the world for the competition section.”
In the opinion of the mayor of IU, this type of event is “a resource so that Benalmádena is known throughout the year, and not only in the months of sun and beach, since the city has a great cultural offer and we continue working to become in the cultural capital of the Costa del Sol ”.
Regarding the Ficcab, Centella defended that “our film festival has to be an element of the city, that all the neighbors feel as something of their own and close, and that it does not depend on the political ups and downs and electoral results”.
