The Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs of Benalmádena (ACEB) and the Open Shopping Center Association of Benalmádena (ACCAB) have today presented the awards for the Christmas campaign, and have offered data on the great impact of this initiative on social networks.
The president of ACCAB, Jesús Fortes, highlighted that the #FelizBenalvidad campaign developed by influencers Andrea Zambrano, Mar Copé and Sacryta to promote local commerce, “has registered a total of 243,124 people reached, almost 4 times the population registered in the municipality” . Fortes recalled that this campaign “has been possible thanks to the economic collaboration of the Malaga Chamber of Commerce, which has also financed the prizes for the Christmas decoration contest.”
Regarding the Win a Showcase contest, the president of the ACEB and the Councilor for Commerce, Javier Marín, have delivered the set of gifts valued at 2,878.64 euros, to the winner of the prize, Sonia Gallardo. The establishment that has delivered the ballot has been the children’s fashion store Charanga Arroyo de la Miel, whose manager has also been present at the award ceremony.
The head of the business group highlighted “the involvement that establishments associated with the ACEB have with this campaign, especially in a year that is generally being even tougher than 2020 in terms of sales”, and thanked the City Council for their collaboration. Benalmádena in this initiative.
For his part, the Councilor for Commerce recalled that the draw was carried out before a Notary between the clients of the establishments associated with the ACEB, and that it is “one of the activities of the Christmas campaign that the association has carried out together with the Benalmádena City Council to promote local commerce and value it against the depersonalization of large surfaces and the giants of online sales”.
Christmas decoration contest
The prizes for the Christmas decoration contests were also awarded at the event. In the showcase category, the winners were the fashion store Tú & Yo Woman Shop, the herbalist El Jardín de las Naranjas, and the hairdresser and beauty salon Estefanía & Co. The prizes have been 250, 150 and 100 euros, respectively. In the establishments category, the winners were theDog’s Club dog grooming salon, the La Niña del Guardiarestaurant, and 100 Montaditos, with prizes of 250, 150 and 100 euros, respectively.
González Rubia has highlighted the participation in the decoration contests, with 38 participants in total. The photographs of the decorations have been published on the ACEB Facebook page to give projection and visibility to the participating establishments, so that to date they have received 9,513 visits.
