The IES Arroyo de la Miel will host a professional course in Hotel Animation, with a dozen places available, which will take place from October 3 to November 28, Monday to Thursday, in the afternoon from 4:30 p.m. aimed at the unemployed.
The person in charge of the FP courses on physical and sports activities in this institute, Alejandro Emo, explained that, through European funds, a series of professional certifications have arrived.
Emo has highlighted that this summer there has been a lot of demand for entertainers from hotels, “and we haven’t had enough people to send them, and therefore we have considered appropriate dedicate one of these certifications to a 150-hour module that qualifies you to work as a monitor camp or hotel entertainer”.
One of the bases to opt for this module is to be unemployed, and the center has collaborated with the Department of Employment for its promotion. In fact, it was the councilor for this area, Joaquín Villazón, who was in charge of presenting the course this morning, which has 10 places available.
The participants, once they have successfully completed the theoretical training, could start working in camps or hotels starting next summer.
