Families with children and stories are the protagonists of the activities organized by the Arroyo de la Miel Public Library, in collaboration with the Delegation of Parks and Gardens, which will take place this weekend: Autumn Tales and Fairy Tales.
The main objective of both activities is to enhance the taste for reading among the little ones, in an entertaining and fun way through storytelling, while stimulating their imagination, curiosity and creativity.
Thus, tomorrow, Friday, October 22 at 6:00 p.m., at the Monument to the Poets of Parque de la Paloma, the Library welcomes autumn with a show of stories, music and clown to La Troupe Almazen. Tales of yesterday and always in a Clown key from the gaze of two clowns: Nyoli de Bui and Mac Novara, on a journey full of emotions, laughter and joy that all attendees will undoubtedly enjoy.
In addition, Saturday October 23 will be a fairy tale Saturday at the Library and at 12 in the morning the accountant Olga López de Lerma will celebrate the Libraries Day, held annually every October 24, promoted by the General Directorate of Books and the Promotion of Reading, through the General Sub-Directorate of Library Coordination.
This year’s edition, under the motto Libraries: read, learn, discover, focuses on highlighting the role of libraries as free, diverse and open spaces for access to culture and knowledge, based on reading and the set of resources that allow learning and enable the discovery of other ideas, other people, other cultures and other worlds.
The places to participate in any of these activities are free until the capacity is complete, which is limited and in addition, those attending these activities will be presented with a Library backpack and a bookmark.
Although the activities are outdoors, the use of a mask is recommended for those over 6 years of age and to remain in the assigned place during the development of the activity.
