The integration of the Benalmádena hospital into the SAS will allow it to serve three more specialties

The Costa del Sol Public Healthcare Business Agency, to which the Costa del Sol hospitals of Benalmádena, Marbella and Estepona belong, has been dissolved and has been integrated from the first day of 2022 into the Andalusian Health Service (SAS).

The PP of Benalmádena has positively valued the decree for the dissolution of the health agencies and integration of the city hospital in the SAS recently announced by the Minister of Health of the Junta de Andalucía, Jesús Aguierre.

For the popular, this integration of the hospital,“is magnificent news for Benalmádena, as it is a demonstration of the commitment of the Andalusian Government to finalize the implementation of the three pending specialties, such as urology, dermatology and ophthalmology, since this step was an essential process to facilitate the achievement of the services demanded ”.

The PP spokesman, Juan Antonio Lara, thanked “this significant advance launched by the Government of change led by Juanma Moreno, which, despite the pandemic, it has prioritized an action that brings the fulfillment of a historical demand closer to the residents of Benalmádena and that has been dragged from the socialist stage ”.

Finally, Juan Antonio Lara has affirmed that his party continues to work from the opposition “positively for Benalmádena and they are transferring the needs of the city to the different institutions.”

Specifically, Lara has highlighted “the significant advances that are being made by the Junta de Andalucía to historical claims both in terms of education and health”, where these, according to the popular, are carried out through “actions and not with promises as we were used to before ”.
