The Organizing Commission of the XIII Local Congress of the Popular Party of Benalmádena has announced this morning the proclamation of the sole candidacy presented for the presidency of the party that will continue to be headed by Enrique Moya.
The candidacy of unity of the PP of Benalmádena has managed to add 30% more endorsements than in the 2018 congress and has set itself as a fundamental objective “to bring together the experience, the desire and the illusion of the center-right to snatch the municipal government from the PSOE with the support of the neighbors in May 2023 “.
From the PP they have transferred that “they are going to face the next elections with great responsibility and they are going to be at the height of what the neighbors need.” In this sense, they have announced that the first commitment made by the Popular Party after the congress “will be to get Benalmádena out of the jam in which the Socialists have subjected the city, especially in recent years.”
The candidate for the Presidency of the local PP, Enrique Moya, has thanked the trust that he has once again received from the militancy of his party to move forward, highlighting especially “the love and support received from the former mayor and Honorary President, Paloma García, together with the municipal spokesperson, Juan Antonio Lara “.
Moya has confirmed that his candidacy “represents with enthusiasm the entire PP family in the city” and that his project will have “all those who at some point voted for his formation and those who want a change in the city.” He also stressed that “the only alternative to the PSOE is the Popular Party, as history has said and all polls currently say, so the only option to achieve the change that the city needs revolves around uniting all the vote under the acronym of the PP “.
For the PP, the arrival of the PSOE to the Government “has demonstrated the inability of the Socialists to be in charge of the city, since it is a government specialized in generating problems instead of solving them, in addition to governing with its back to the neighbors and having a mayor who clearly has his sights set outside of Benalmádena instead of working to improve the quality of life of his neighbors. The PSOE has been subjecting Benalmádena to a traffic jam for six years, not only that of the old N-340, but also in projects and city model. Now, more than ever, the popular ones are the alternative, the change so that Benalmádena recovers from these last six years lost thanks to the disastrous socialist management “.
The XIII Local Congress of the PP has been convened for next Saturday, November 13 at the Hotel Polynesia in Benalmádena Costa at 11.00, with an act open to all citizens and groups where the Provincial President and Councilor of the Presidency of the Junta de Andalucía, Elías Bendodo.
