They criticize that the budgets for 2022 do not include “lower taxes or aid to employment and families”

The municipal spokesman of the Benalmádena PP, Juan Antonio Lara, accompanied by councilors from the municipal group, has assessed the budget project for 2022, which will be approved by the local government in the extraordinary plenary session to be held this Thursday.

The popular have regretted, once the items contemplated for next year have been analyzed, that “the Government led by the PSOE has not incorporated the proposals that were raised by the PP, which revolved fundamentally around a tax cut, increase aid to families, SMEs and incentives for employment and entrepreneurship ”.

From the PP they have criticized “the lack of will that the government team maintains to try to reach an agreement between all the groups of the corporation on the general economic lines of the city”, since, according to the popular ones, “it has not even existed the minimum gesture to seek a necessary consensus taking into account the exceptional circumstances that we are still going through due to the pandemic and where we must all be more united ”.

Faced with this situation, Lara has predicted that “the left-wing government will cling to the plenary majority that they still hold until the next municipal elections” to get some budgets, in his opinion, “unreal” ahead.

Along these lines, the PP spokesperson has warned that these accounts “are not credible by not showing sensitivity to the situation our neighbors and companies are going through, not approaching the reality of what Benalmádena needs”, a city that, for Lara, “It is poorly managed in these 7 years almost of a socialist government, which have already demonstrated their inability to solve the existing problems, as well as others that they have been generating themselves and that are becoming eternal, such as the single lane and the closures of the Club de Hielo, the Museum or the Central Office of Tourism and Consumption ”.
