The Councilor for Culture, Pablo Centella, reported this morning on the launch of free workshops aimed at people at risk of social exclusion, which will be developed with the collaboration of his area together with Social Welfare and the Asociación Cultural Centro Sabhasana.
According to the IU councilor, “the practice of yoga improves self-control and quality of life, generates optimism, serenity and confidence, elements that are especially necessary in these times.”
This initiative is regulated through an agreement signed between the Benalmadense cultural group and the City Council and, in the words of Isabel Torrico, president of the Asociación Cultural Centro Sabhasana, “through these workshops we want to teach new techniques to be able to live better, relaxing body and mind ”.
The workshop will begin this week and will last until the end of June, and those interested will be able to choose between several hours, morning and afternoon. To participate in this activity, those interested should contact the delegations of Culture and Social Welfare.
The Asociación Cultural Centro Sabhasana carries out its activity at the Manuel Estepa Cultural Center on Las Flores street, and to contact the association the number is 657825781.
