Benalmádena will experience a weekend in full sail with the celebration of the 12th edition of the 24 Nautical Hours, Costa del Sol Trophy, which will be held this weekend with the sponsorship of the Provincial Council of Malaga, the Senda Azul y Automotor, under the organization of the Marina and the Nautical Club. The mayor, Juan Antonio Lara, accompanied by the CEO of the Benalmadena marina, José Luis Bergillos, among other authorities, presented the event this Wednesday, an unmissable date for lovers of water sports that puts Benalmádena in the spotlight for its commitment decided by the world of sailing.
The event will begin this Friday, September 1 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the Opening of the Regatta Office and the Registration of Participants, to officially start on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. with the Registration, breakfast between participants and meeting of patterns. The first race is scheduled to start at 12:00, while the second will take place on Sunday, at 9:00, with at least one of them being necessary to complete for the regatta to be valid.
The 24 Nautical Hours allow the participation of boats with ORC Measurement Certificate for 2023 in this edition; establishes a Free class for boats without a rating certificate; registration is still open for those interested in participating through 952 444 234 or through info@cnmBenalmádena.com.
