The mayor of Benalmádena, Víctor Navas; and the Councilor for Social Welfare, Alicia Laddaga, have participated this morning in thedistribution of almost 400 toys among 199 families at risk of social exclusion in Benalmádena.
The mayor, Víctor Navas, has shown that “from the City Council we have redoubled efforts in 2021 to guarantee that in Benalmádena no child is left without their toy this Christmas.”
He also thanked the contributions made by Emabesa and the CD Pesca Benalmádena through their solidarity day of fishing for toys.
The mayor of Social Welfare, for her part, recalled that the Social Welfare technicians themselves are in charge of selecting the 199 families from Benalmadena who have received the donated toys.
“We want to highlight two fundamental aspects: we seek that the toys are non-violent and non-sexist, in addition to promoting creativity, educational, cooperative, sports games and toys, among others,” the councilor added.
