On the afternoon of last Friday, January 28, the Benalmádena PSOE held its Extraordinary Assembly for the debate and vote on the Management Report of the outgoing Local Executive Commission, approved unanimously by the assembly. Subsequently, the presentation and voting of candidacies to the Local Executive Commission proceeded. The candidacy led by Víctor Navas obtained the support of 96% of the assembly, thus resulting in him being re-elected as general secretary of the PSOE of Benalmádena for a period of four more years.
According to Navas, “I am proud to represent the socialist group of Benalmádena, and the hundreds of socialist men and women in the city: we will continue to build together a project for the future, progress and equality for our neighbors”.
Similarly, the secretary general also stated that “I want to thank my outgoing executive for her effort and commitment over the last four years, thanks to which we achieved a historic result in the 2019 municipal elections.”
The extraordinary assembly was attended by a large attendance of militants, and the presence of the Secretary of Organization of the PSOE of Málaga, Pepe Bernal.
