The mayor and councilor for Foreign Residents of Benalmádena, Víctor Navas, together with a large representation of various nationalities dressed in the typical costumes of each country, presented this morning the XII International Christmas Festival, to be held in the Plaza de la Mezquita next December 17, 18 and 19, from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
In this edition, countries such as Colombia, Chile, Ukraine, Morocco, Argentina, the United States, Pakistan, Mexico, Italy or France will participate.
Visitors will be able to taste typical foods of each region, learn how Christmas is celebrated in different corners of the world and enjoy various concerts with traditional music from the participating countries.
«The event now has 12 editions, and each year we have wanted to add more participating countries, although in 2021 we have had to limit participation for health reasons,» explained the first mayor.
