The Councilor for the Third Age, Irene Díaz; and the president of the center for active participation of older Silvestre González, Salvador Pérez, have presented the program Connected, a new course organized in collaboration with the association Cyber Volunteers, through which the necessary tools will be offered for older people to take advantage of new technologies and develop more freely in the use of mobile phones and their applications.
«During the pandemic it has become quite clear that the use of new technologies is essential, and our elders cannot be left behind in this area,» Díaz has valued.
The course will take place at the center for the active participation of older people on October 21 and 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. it will teach them how they can request a medical appointment from their mobile, or download all those important applications so that they can cope with new technologies without problems and thus be more autonomous «.
